This item came with a lot of pieces and the process seemed daunting at first. In reality, it was a really easy process and didn't take long at all. Make sure you have a large and smaller phillips head screwdriver handy. Those were the only tools we required and we didn't use a smaller screwdriver, but it would have been very handy. Structurally, the majority of the components are solid wood. The bottoms of the drawers, the back of the changer, and the actually changer top are all 1/4 inch particle board. Our little one hasn't arrived yet, but I am concerned on how well the top of the changer (where the baby lays) will hold up.0 of people ... The beautiful
