I was really interested in finding a glider for our nursery that was upholstered, not enormous and not outlandishly expensive. This fits that bill. The fabric is a decent chenille that needs to be broken in a bit but is very pretty and relatively soft (it does need to be broken in just a bit I think). The size of the chair (with the ottoman) is perfect for our moderate sized space and we couldn't be happier. I was a little concerned when the glider arrived because it feels like it has more of a rocking motion than the gliding motion I was looking for.
