My wife and I bought this gate recently and are very pleased with the look and build quality. Functionally it seems to work fine, it was quick and easy to assemble, and simple enough to use. Unfortunately, the only drawback is that the walk-through opening is only 18" wide - doable, but considering a 30-32" average doorway you've lost well over a third of the width for walking through. This seems to be fairly common with these gates (though that dimension is hardly ever mentioned on the box or description) and I'm sure there is some structural engineering reason why it's the case, but it's simply not comfortable to walk through.
