It's hard to justify writing a critical review, while trying to judge the experiences of a newborn, for several reasons. They can't talk to convey their pleasure or displeasure with a specific item of furniture, and they are babies, which are notorious for not wanting to sleep in their crib. All factors considered I really wouldn't recommend this bed to new parents. I have to agree with the other poster who stated their child just seems uncomfortable using this bed. I would not want to use this bed (if it was adult-sized). The outer lining is a vinyl-plastic type of material; supposedly to help minimize stains. However, it comes at the cost of "breathability".
